Ways to Celebrate your Teacher
Do you remember your favorite teacher from school? We’re betting you do because teachers make an lasting impact on all of us. They may have inspired your career path, were a role-model, made you laugh when you were down, coached your team, or got you through a particularly difficult subject. Teachers do so much to encourage and care for their students every day!
Since we can’t thank them in person this year, we put together a short list of ways students and families can than their teacher from home! Use the hashtag #ThankYourTeacherFL and be sure to tag us @EducationFL and tell us how much your teachers mean to you!
Current students:
- Draw a picture
- Write a poem
- Email a digital gift
- Share a video telling a favorite story about how much they mean to you
- Call them to tell them how much they mean to you
- Write a letter or email
- Make them a poster or banner and post a photo on social media
Former students:
- Post on social media telling a story about your favorite teacher
- Sing your school song, alma mater, or school anthem and post the video on social media
- High School Colors Day – wear your school colors
- Post a #ThrowbackThursday photo with your favorite teacher
