Florida Department of Education Employees Donate School Supplies to Nims Middle School

Tallahassee, Fla., August 14, 2015 –Today, Chancellor of K-12 Public Schools Hershel Lyons delivered school supplies donated by Department of Education employees to R. Frank Nims Middle School in Leon County.

Chancellor Lyons said, “Every student deserves to start the school year with the supplies they need to achieve success in the classroom, and I am proud of the generosity that the Department of Education staff showed through our school supply drive. From backpacks and composition books to folders, pencils, and paper, the DOE team stepped up in a big way to help our community’s students.”
