Department of Education to Announce School-Related Employee of the Year
Tallahassee, Fla., April 26, 2016 – Tomorrow, the Florida Department of Education will announce the 2016 School-Related Employee of the Year. The winner will be chosen from five state finalists based on their contributions to their schools and communities.
The five finalists for 2016 School-Related Employee of the Year are:
Alachua County – Angela Wright, Computer Lab Proctor, Hawthorne Middle/High School
Broward County – Kenyatta D. Medlock, Community Liaison, Whiddon-Rogers Education Center
Marion County – Abel Garcia, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Paraprofessional, Reddick-Collier Elementary School
Martin County – Vanessa Molina-Council, English Language Learner (ELL) Paraprofessional, Citrus Grove Elementary School
Osceola County – Alberto “Tico” Justiniano, Head Custodian, Narcoosee Elementary School
