Higher Education Coordinating Council Meeting to Discuss Recommendations

The Higher Education Coordinating Council (HECC) will meet Tuesday at the Florida Department of Education's Turlington Building to discuss the fifth draft of the report and recommendations to the legislature. The HECC is required to submit the report with recommendations on how to focus the missions of the different higher education delivery systems in Florida. The Council will deliver the final draft of the report to the Legislature and Governor this month.

The HECC was formed by the Legislature to address the need to create a world-class education system responsive to the changing economy. Additional information about the Council may be found at http://www.floridahighereducation.org/index.php.
