DOE to Host Technical Assistance Workshops on New Student Growth Model

The Florida Department of Education (DOE) will host two identical technical assistance workshops on Monday and Tuesday in Orlando for school districts to learn about the state's new student growth value-added model that will be used as a part of their teacher and principal evaluation systems.

Interested media are invited to attend the workshops or view a live webcast of Monday's meeting from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at www.fldoe.org. Any media inquiries should be directed to the DOE press office.
