The SAAC is a welcome opportunity for those involved with Registered Apprenticeship matters to have an open forum to review and analyze issues that impact programs and operations.

Section 446.045, F.S. states that the SAAC to be composed of 10 voting members appointed by the Governor and two ex officio nonvoting members. The Governor shall appoint to the SAAC four members representing employee organizations and four members representing employer organizations. Each member shall represent industries that have registered apprenticeship programs. The Governor shall also appoint two public members who are knowledgeable about registered apprenticeship and apprenticeable occupations. Members shall be appointed for 4-year staggered terms.
