2022-23 WDIS Supplemental Information Format
This format is reported three times per year using the Survey Period Codes:
- F (Fall)
- W (Winter)
- S (Spring)
The format is used for the reporting of industry certification information, additional hours credited for postsecondary career and technical education students, and reporting adult general education diplomas earned in the year after exit.
For the purpose of reporting Industry Certification Identifier and Industry Certification Outcome: Submit a separate record in the reporting periods noted above for each Industry Certification earned by the student. For these records, Additional Hours Earned is to be zeroes and Diploma Type is to be Z filled or blanks.
For the purpose of reporting Additional Hours Credited: Submit a separate record for each student in a program who has received credit for hours earned prior to entering the program (for example, transfer credit, life experience, etc.) For these records, report the associated program code, Industry Certification Identifier is to be blanks, Industry Certification Outcome is to be blank, and Diploma Type is to be Z filled or blanks.
For the purpose of reporting diplomas earned in the year after exit: Submit a separate record in the reporting periods noted above for each Diploma Type earned by the student in the year after exit and record the Adult General Education Diploma date earned. For these records, report the associated Adult General Education program code, Industry Certification Identifier is to be blanks, Industry Certification Outcome is to be blank, and Additional Hours Credited is to be zeroes.
Key Fields:
The key fields for this format are item numbers 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 11, 12 and 19. If a key field needs to be changed, the record must be deleted and resubmitted as an add.
