B.E.S.T. Standards for Mathematics
Florida’s Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Standards for Mathematics were adopted by the State Board of Education on February 12, 2020. Additionally, on September 23, 2020 the SBE approved the amendment to Rule 6A-1.09412, Course Requirements – Grades K-12 Basic and Adult Secondary Programs.

- During the event, Florida mathematics educators will come together for explicit, systematic training on the content and implementation of the B.E.S.T. Mathematics Standards.
- This year, the event will be organized into five tracks: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12 and school leadership.
- This year, the event will take place at four locations:
- Northwest | Chiles High School, Tallahassee, FL | June 20-22, 2023
- Southeast | Palm Beach Central High School, Wellington, FL | June 27-29, 2023
- Southwest | Riverview High School, Sarasota, FL | July 11-13, 2023
- Northeast | Creekside High School, St. Johns, FL | July 18-20, 2023
