Selecting Schools
When families move to a new city or state, finding the right school for their children is a top priority but often poses a challenge. The Moving to Florida website was created as a one-stop hub of information on public education in Florida. Use the Search by County/District/Superintendents link above to search through Florida's public school districts. Each geographical county is a school district. If you don't know the name of the county where you are relocating, use the Search by City link instead. On the Search by County/District/Superintendent page, each county name links to that school district's website. We encourage you to contact the local districts for specific information about their schools, such as magnet programs, extracurricular activities, or assistance for students with special needs.
